Free Sports Injury Clinics

Sports Injury Assessment Clinic (See below for 2010 dates and times)
Purpose: Providing free sports injury screenings for San Diego county high school students for over forty years. Available every Saturday morning during the fall sports season (September - November) at two locations in San Diego. Also, Monday afternoons at Southwestern College during the entire school year (September - June). Thursday afternoons (last Thursday of the month) at OASIS MSO (January - May 2010).
Criteria: Available to all San Diego County student athletes injured while participating for their high school sports team/event.
Cost: FREE to San Diego high school student athletes.
Goal: Our goal is to provide the highest quality of injury screening in order to diagnose and treat the student athlete. We hope to return the athlete to sports as safely and as quickly as possible with the athlete’s well-being always being the main priority.
Requirements: All athletes MUST bring a signed parental consent form in order to be seen.

AN ASSESSMENT WILL BE PERFORMED AT NO CHARGE BY ATHLETIC TRAINER. IF A REFERRAL TO A DOCTOR IS NEEDED, A PHYSICIAN WILL BE AVAILABLE TO FURTHER EVALUATE THE INJURED ATHLETE, DURING INJURY CLINIC.
